ki-o (transitive verb) to betray; to make a dupe of; to make somebody be fined for what is not his fault, as of a father being fined for his child's mistake; to pay fine for; to renege. kedupoo ikakoku: my child made me pay a fine; or, I am fined (imprisoned) for my child. edupo aola ekokolan: a cough betrayed the thief. cp. agwelar.
