ko-a (transitive verb) to intervene, adjudicate, separate combatants; to defend; to come to the rescue, alleviate, arbitrate. koinakinai akipi kadyekia akure: give me some water to alleviate my thirst. to mediate; to separate quarrelling persons; to reconcile, intercede. cp. aityak (of all other things to be separated). kodyek luejios kwi: separate those fighters.
