a traditional ceremony (especially in Katakwi) of having a breastfeeding mother start eating beef with bone, and involves the killing of a bull supplied by the woman’s parents for the purpose, drinking of ajon, etc. (note: a breastfeeding woman is supposed to abstain from beef and vegetables cooked with amakadi or abalang - salt ash - in favour of offals such as small intestines and vegetables like emalakang that stimulate lactation)
